Jotter (Handwriting Notepad) App Reviews

Jotter updated

Ive had this app for awhile but since the update I use it a lot. I like being able move the notes around to order of importance.

Need folders

Great app! Just need folders to better organize notes! Cant wait for update on this!

Great app, room for improvement

Beautiful handwriting and set up. Need to add the option to have a note longer than a single page and to be able to group similar notes together in folders. If this were added, definitely a 5 star app!

Frozen app!!

Every time I try to choose a photo for the background, the spinning circle of death freezes the whole app and I have to close the whole thing out. Basically, I cant use Jotter at all unless I forever use the current background because its impossible to choose a new one. PLEASE FIX!

Great App!

Ugly icon. Please bring Bach the previous one. It was so sleek.

Wow !!!

Simple and good app for the price. Just does not tell you how many notes you can store. So store in emails......haha.

Nifty

A great little app and I love the calendars for an extra 99 cents.

Does not let me DELETE notes

Great concept. But a glaring bug: deleting a note does not actually delete it! Makes it useless.

First Impression

Have spent less than an hour with Jotter. But it looks very promising to the point that Im getting enthused about it. Had some frustration finding how to delete a note, but the function is there. It uses iCloud which I think is essential. Expecting Jotter to just keep improving.

Very nice app

Was the best one I could find! Except some bugs but thats ok!

Beautiful.

Works great. Love the planer note papers.

No indefinite scroll? Good app though

I would love to write songs in this app by hand but the scroll cuts off. Needs an indefinite scroll to write whatever you want.

Blank Note !

Loosing data, periodically a note will turn blank. Please add an alarm option. Blanking note has not been repaired in over a month. Do not buy until repaired!

Good, ...but could be great!

Good app in the fact that it syncs handwritten notes between devices. Love that! Make a grocery list on your iPad, and pick it up in the store on your iPhone. It would be more user friendly if you could see and edit the list in one place though. Currently, to edit a list on your iPhone, that was created on your iPad, requires you to copy it from your iCloud section of the app and it then saves it to your My Notes section of the app. Obviously, I want them to stay the same, across the board, all the time. The way it is, you end up with multiple lists and have to shuffle through and find the current list you actually care about. Also, the "undo" button looks too much like a "reply" button. I do like the app very much, just know it could be great!

Tops on iPhone!

Since Penultimate is not available on iPhone Jotter is great. Then under the Share button you have a choice of Open in App. Evernote and Skitch are there and the PDF that Jotter created and saved is synced to either one of those. Excellent.

Poor

Ive tried using this for 5 minutes and it has crashed 7 times in that time. When you are able to write, there isnt a place to put your hand. Waste of money.

Terrible since the update and no support options

I agree with one of the other reviewer about the crashing since the update. What the heck? No way to contact the developer. Whats the deal? I paid for extras too so I am NOT happy. I hope they read reviews and update their app because this is crazy. I have to move my notes and use a different app too. Its a a shame that developers get to sell on the App Store and then just neglect those that try to support them. Bad business. I cant even articulate how upset I am about this. Its ridiculous.

update failure

Ever since the IOS update, the app no longer works properly. It was the best note writing app there was, not it is just a waste of hard drive.

Very slow after the update

Lags quite a bit! Please fix this very nice app!! Will stay away before this is done...

Jotter Pretty Darn Good

I am addicted to trying different ink note pads but keep going back to this one. It feels and looks like a regular piece of note paper. Writes clearly and I especially like the close up hand writing! Try it! youll like it!
